Just giving a girl an education is like giving her an airplane

It is a valuable tool, but she doesn't have the least idea of have to operate it!

A girl must conquer many challenges and obstacles to get an education in Africa. And when she graduates from high school it is a tremendous acheivement. But by mandate of the Kenyan Deptartment of Education, her education has been confined to academic excellence.

JOP fills the gap

Just One Person transforms adolescent girls lives in rural Kenya by providing the knowledge and skills they need to make informed decisions as they graduate from childhood to adulthood.

Our structured 4 year life skills curriculum teaches, supports and encourages girls to make informed decisions about their lives after graduation...Learn about our life skills workshops and seminars.

Most importantly, to successfully challenge traditional barriers that limit their choices and trap them in the cycle of poverty, girls in Kenya must have a supportive and safe environment. Learn how village communities help support JOP girls' programs
